So, I was round a friend of mines house today, I'm not saying who it is, in case the rabid fan base of Stephanie Meyer tries to maim her, and she was showing me all this stuff on a forum about Twilight fans attacking anti-twilighters. Before this, I didn't like Twilight, but not to the point of hating it. Now I hate it. I have read some of the attack stories, including one where some got beaten up by a chair Hogan style, another where a little seven year old's goldfish was murdered and one about a girl getting beaten by a baseball bat in a store.
It sickened me, I now want to be physically sick. Somebody needs to send these stories to Meyer so that she can see how rabid her fans are. They treat it like it's the bible for crying out loud. IT'S NOT BLOODY REAL!!!
So I made this avatar, and beleive me there's a lot more coming because I am really pissed off, I watched a book burning of Twilight today, I have never been so pleased to see a book burn before and I thought I would never ever say that. EVER.
Note: To Twilight fans reading this, a few things:
1) I have read most of the first book, but because I felt that my head would explode because of the lack of plot line and the lack of character personality I had to put it down.
2) If you are the type of whiny, obsessed, rabid Twilight fan girl/boy, then you only have yourselves to blame for my dislike turning into hatred.
3) There is in no way, whatsoever, that I am jealous of Bella, because I'm not fat and I'm reasonably pretty WHICH I AM FINE WITH BECAUSE NOT EVERYTHING HAS TO DO WITH APPEARANCES!!!
4) I'm not jealous of what Edward and Bella have, because it's in a book and therfore not real. I also don't care if any furture boyfriends are not like Edward, want to know why? Because, frankly, I think that having a Vampire who is tempted to kill you for a boyfriend is very creepy and if Edward was real (which he's not) and he showed the remotest bit of interest in me I WOULD MOVE TO A DIFFERENT COUNTRY!
That is all (gee this kinda turned into a rant didn't it?)
